Working Up A Storm!

Trying to protect my work and materials during the storm!

My job has it’s challenges like anyone else’s but trying to create art in concrete between storms Eunice and Franklin is a whole other level!

This is a new enclosure at a zoo for an Asian Short Clawed Otter, and I am constantly battling the weather on this one.

Between sun, rain, snow, hail and 90 mph winds it’s been tricky to say the least!
At least the concrete is drying quickly!
I’m having to think on my feet to find ways to cover up the work I have done to protect it from the elements as much as possible, whilst trying to complete the project in time.

The life and struggles of a concrete artisan eh?!
