Working Up A Storm

My most recent project is creating two new habitats situated next to each for Mongoose and Meerkats .. which isn’t too much of a challenge normally, but in the midst of Storm Arwen things became a little trickier than normal!

I’ve never wanted to batten down the hatches as I have with this job! The animals can burrow down and stay safe and warm, but sadly I couldn’t quite fit down their tunnels to join them, so I braved the elements to carry on with the task at hand.

Low level faux concrete walling and carved mortar for starters to mark out the territories, with more to follow! Stay tuned ..
