Something New For Me!

This was my first attempt at this kind of project, and I have to say I am really pleased with the result!

This is just part of the new habitat for the large parrot enclosure I am working on currently, part of a larger zoo environment. There are lots of other elements I’ve added too, such as a waterfall, wall ruins and much more, but this faux bois bridge was a first!

Bois is literally translated at ‘false wood’, a really useful technique for creating this look from concrete. I’ll admit this one tested my patience, but I’m happy with the finished piece.
