My Happy Place

Although I can work in many mediums and love to create a multitude of looks and finishes, faux concrete is my go-to.

It may sound corny to say that I am in my happy place, or in my comfort zone with this type of project, but it’s true.

Creating habitats and animal enclosures, leisure spaces and activity places with fake concrete is my favourite kind of project.

Obviously there is a process; getting the mix just right, setting the foundations .. but carving days just fly by for me!

Artificial rock and faux rock waterfalls and water features are so satisfying to create, and never more so than when you can see the finished result with the water cascading too.

Carved concrete and mortar carving allows me to really get creative with the finishes - and I love the results!
